• Sequencing

Definition ~ A sequence is a serial arrangement of images in which the subject(s) follow in logical order/ pattern, Photo sequencing involves manually stitching the multiple images together and is a form of time lapse photography. By doing this, it shows a change in an objects position over a certain time frame as the object moves along a static background

1. Tripod
2. Fast shutter speed
3. Manual camera settings (to fix the exposure)
4. Manual focus
5. No Camera shake (be careful when pressing the button).
6. Direct the shoot (composition/framing and where the moving elements will move from and to are important.

• Motion Blur

Definition ~ Motion blur is the apparent streaking of moving objects in a photograph or a sequence of frames, such as a film or animation. It results when the image being recorded changes during the recording of a single exposure, due to rapid movement or long exposure.

• Animated Gif

Definition ~ An animated GIF is an image encoded in graphics interchange format (GIF),which contains a number of images or frames in a single file and is described by its own graphic control extension. The frames are presented in a specific order in order to convey animation.

Image ~

Description ~ 

1.  Resize the images for example 72 dpi, and 900 x 600 pixels, to do this select Image, Image size and set the dimensions above whilst selecting the Re-sample option.
2. Load the images that you want to create an animation with, in order.  
3. Import the images into the Photoshop file and organise the layers and name them appropriately (1,2,3,etc).
4.  Select Window, Timeline,
5.    Select Create video time line
6.    Drag the images into the time line and adjust each clip duration to e.g. 5 frames
7.   Order the images in the sequence that you want to show.
8.  To test the animated gif  press the play button
9.  To loop the video select the “set the playback options button” and then press play.
10.  To save the animation  select File, Save for web. 
11. At this point you need to ensure the animation is looped see the image below and that you have selected a gif  file option and 128 dithered and then save

• Black and white

Definition ~ A black and white photograph is an image where all color has been removed (either in the digital process or through the choice of film). It consists of shades of gray tone that generally go from dark (black) to light (white).

• Colour Saturation

Definition ~  Colour saturation refers to the intensity of colour in an image. In technical terms, it is the expression of the bandwidth of light from a source.

4. use white balance

5. shoot at optimal times of day/ month/ year

• Shallow depth of field

Definition ~ A basic definition of depth of field is: the zone of acceptable sharpness within a photo that will appear in focus. In every picture there is a certain area of your image in front of, and behind the subject that will appear in focus. ... Some images may have very small zones of focus which is called shallow depth of field.
